What an amazing place. Amanda & Kelvin were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to help us settle in to be right at home. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be booking again in the future. Truly a credit to them and their place the hayloft.

Had a lovely few days at the hayloft. It had everything…and I mean everything. Great attention to detail from the lovely local treats left for us to the socket extension on each side of the bed!! Emergency lighting and safety information did not go unnoticed and the kitchen was the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever stayed in! My children loved their own living room a little too much! Me and my husband enjoyed the open fire and hot tub. And our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden, dog field and treats left for him!Would most definitely come back again.

The photos of this place did no justice, it was gorgeous! And the hosts went above and beyond, to decorate for a birthday. The area was gorgeous, private and peaceful.

Lovely stay in the moors with friends. A lovely cottage with everything you need. The hosts were friendly and helpful and left a welcome tray with everything you would need and more. They even provided extra towels and bowls for the dogs.

The whole site is very dog friendly with an enclosed field area for the dogs to burn off some energy and the area around the hot tub is fully enclosed.

The real fire was welcome this time of year especially after getting out of the hot tub!
The kitchen area has everything you would need, it really felt like home from home.

Would 100% recommend and hope to return in the future!

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Hay Loft.The cottage was beautiful, the welcome baskets were very thoughtful my children loved the hot chocolate and also looking at the fresh eggs which had been left to match to the photos of the hens in the welcome book.Great location for exploring the East coast.Fabulous hosts, we would absolutely love the visit again.

Fantastic place inside and out. With the moors on the doorstep and everything you need to wind down once you get back we had one of the most chilled and enjoyable breaks we’ve had in a while. We will most definitely stay again when we are up that way. 👌🏻

We had a lovely family stay at the Hayloft. Amanda and Kelvin left us a beautiful welcome pack full of amazing goodies for our stay.The place felt like home from the moment we walked in. The kitchen was so well equipped and made cooking our early Christmas dinner a really easy.Three great bedrooms, comfy beds and everything was clean and cosy.The hot tub with gorgeous views was checked over every morning by Amanda and Kelvin. It was a great size, plenty of room and perfectly clean.The dog paddock was also brilliant for letting our dog have a run around. safe and secure.Fantastic location with Runswick Bay just a short drive away.we will definitely be returning soon.

This was our third time staying at The Hayloft, and Amanda and Kelvin went above and beyond as always. They had decorated for Christmas and even for my birthday, with banners, balloons, and a card, which I thought was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They are truly amazing hosts, offering the most beautiful cottage in the most stunning location. Everything about this place is perfect! It really is our home from home. I’d stay forever if I could. Amanda and Kelvin are amazing hosts. This was our second visit and won’t be our last. We have fallen in love with the place. Relaxing in the hot tub watching the sunset, the fires, the views, the freedom for the dogs in the secure dog field. Amanda and kelvin go above and beyond to make sure the stay is perfect. The thought that goes into everything, fresh eggs and welcome tray. Fresh milk and juice in the fridge. Nothing is ever too much for them and they accept dogs, including banned breeds which is just incredible. We are so grateful to have found this place. It’s our new little place of heaven and safety. Hard to find any fault with this gem of a cottage, we all were made to feel at home had everything that we could’ve wanted. Our little boy loved looking at the wildlife and chickens, and we loved the hot tub with perfect clear skies at night.

The Byre was the most exquisite holiday cottage I have ever stayed in.Beautiful furnishings,comfortable beds,a kitchen that looked as though it had never been used and of course, the hot tub. The welcome tray was a thing of wonder in itself and you don’t often get the chance to personally thank the hen that laid your breakfast egg. The cottage was immaculate but it was all the thoughtful touches that made it so special. Thank you.

We stayed for 2 night for a wedding at Danby castle. The cottage was beautiful, spotless and with anything you could possibly need for a great stay. The hot tub was great, and the welcome pack fab. It’s in a great location to explore the North Yorkshire coast and north yorks moors. Amanda was fab at getting back to me with any questions I had prior to arrival. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Byre had everything we needed. Such a lovely cottage, you can tell how much thought Amanda has put into making it the perfect holiday cottage. We loved the complementary welcome tray and chilling in the hot tub. We’ve already recommended it to our family and friends and are thinking about our next trip!

Wow! Stunning location and beautiful home but what really stood out was how Amanda and Kevin went out of their way to do everything they could for us. Celebrating a 50th we walked into a house of decorations, the most amazing food treats and a lively birthday card. We couldn’t recommend this place more and Amanda / Kevin are simply the best. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Hayloft. Communication was great right from the start, offering to make twin room into a double when knew we 2 couples. It was easy to find with good instructions and even offered early check in. Were there to great us and were nearby if we needed anything (which we didn’t). The Hayloft was exactly as described/pictures and was very comfortable and extremely well kitted out with loads of cuttlery, crockery and glasswear.Near to the coast and many pubs/restaurants just a short drive away.Had a great time and will definitely be booking again.many thanksKate, Tim, Val and Mike (and Dougie the dachshund who loved his first holiday)

Beautiful cottage What an amazing time we had , myself , daughter , son and 3 grandchildren beautiful cottage everything you could think of needing in the kitchen plus a welcome tray of goodies . Hot tub which we all enjoyed . Dog friendly too , even an enclosed grassed area to walk the dogs . Definately would recommend to anyone , hopefully will visit again :-)

What a great place to stay, it’s so private and secluded. Amanda and Kelvin are great hosts very welcoming, and also clear and communicative. The location is perfect for being a proper retreat to relax whilst also not being too far away from places for lovely days out. It’s perfect for dogs as it’s not just a place that allows dogs to stay but its dog welcoming with a great dog exercise area and everything you might need should you have forgotten anything for your dog. The accommodation is provided as a home away from home and we didn’t want to leave when it was time to come home.

Fantastic accommodation, beautiful scenery. Great for families, loved it that much we have rebooked for next year 🥰

Amazing cottage! So peaceful the kids loved walking the country lanes to watch the sunset over the fields. Lovely and private and only a 10 min drive away from anything to do. Amanda and Kelvin had the place decorated for my little boys birthday and a beautiful welcome kit. Cottage was stunning and hot tub went down a treat!

Just home from a wonderful week staying at the hayloft. The cottage is homely, extremely well equipped and feels like home from home! The location is amazing, close to atunning coast lines whilst also being deep in the beautiful yorkshire moors.
We loved spotting all of the animals who live nearby including owls, woodpeckers, sparrow hawks, bats, hares, sheep, chicken and deer! Magical 🩷
The hosts Amanda and Kelvin were fab- friendly and helpful whilst allowing us the space and privacy to enjoy our holiday. The welcome tray was a lovely touch and the dog basket was fab too- they really have thought of everything.
This was our second stay and I suspect it won’t be our last!

We’ve stayed here a couple of times now and really enjoy it. The lovely hosts greet you when you arrive and are on site for you if there is anything you need. There’s a delicious welcome basket for you (and your dog ) which we always enjoy. Beautiful scenery and we enjoy the wildlife that we see.. The accommodation has everything you need (and more) and feels Very comfortable . The hot tub is an added bonus.
We stay here to visit family but there are lots of activities close by.

Ideal location for us for attending our daughter’s wedding and so relaxing after in the beautiful countryside, would love to go back.

I hired these cottages for the night before my wedding and our wedding party stayed here all weekend. Both barns were so gorgeous, comfortable beds and pillows, and the owners were so kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Even taking in food delivery’s for us and changing sheets and towels for us on request. Would highly recommend!

Me, my partner, our baby and some close friends stayed at the Byre on low Waupley farm for a little weekend getaway and had an absolutely brilliant time. The place was absolutely spotless and had all the essentials we needed already there so we can pack lighter next time knowing this. We didn’t hear a single car the whole time we was there it was so peaceful. Only the lovely birds singing. The location itself is perfect with it being so close to the east coast, if you fancy a trip out you’re not far away from the sea at all. There is also a fire pit/bbq to use, which we did (in the pouring rain) but that only made it more memorable. One of the hosts Amanda even came out and gave us her big umbrella to help shield the bbq from the rain which was very much appreciated and a lovely gesture. The fresh farm eggs from the hens on the farm that you can literally see from the back enclosure of the cottage were phenomenal. You can’t get much fresher. Hosts Kelvin and Amanda really did go above and beyond to make our stay really special and we can’t thank them enough. All in all we had an absolutely amazing time and will be back again for sure. If you’re thinking of booking just do it! You won’t be disappointed 11/10.

Couldn’t recommend Low Waupley Farm enough. The location, attention to detail, beautiful accommodation and attentive hosting were amazing. All within a short drive of local amenities and beaches but far enough away to make you feel like you’re away from it all. 10/10 from us.

We had the best weekend at Hayloft. Everything was perfect, so many lovely touches including the welcome basket with homemade cake. The most beautiful surroundings too to appreciate from the hot tub. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend to everyone.

THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!! The place is absolutely beautiful. very peaceful. beautiful to watch the sun set, and to listen to the animals and the bird. Your so intouch with nature but then so close to the beaches too. was absolutely perfect. We didn’t want to leave. they have absolutely everything you need! The host are so welcoming. You feel very safe there as the outside has CCTV. Absolutely perfect place for a weekend away. They are also so welcoming to dogs. providing a basket for all the things your fur babies may need. They also gift you a natural juice that was absolutely beautiful and a slice of cake. the didn’t miss a detail! thank you so much guys. we can’t wait to come back!! 😊

Came here a couple weeks ago with some friends, Amanda and Kelvin could not have been more welcoming! Before we arrived, there was great communication and when we arrived, they were there to welcome us into their lovely place. They put complementary decorations for my friend’s birthday and overall the house was just fantastic. It was clean, the beds were so comfortable and the place felt like there was great care put into it. Amazing for just a nice getaway and would definitely recommend :)

Whatever I write will not fully express the amazing stay we had. The Hayloft was short of nothing. We didn’t need half the kitchen store cupboard or cleaning that we took. Even hubby commented. It was very dog friendly with a box of dog essentials. Local information was in abundance. The home was very clean and welcoming especially the wonderful tray of local goodies. To top it all, everything was very eco conscious.

Hosts Amanda & Kelvin had thought of everything, it really felt like home from home.
Thank you for the decorations to celebrate my birthday & welcome treats on our arrival.
Child & dog friendly throughout, couldn’t find fault.

The cottage is off the beaten track (GPS picks up the postcode easily), therefore was really peaceful and quiet. The added bonus was the hot tub with stunning views of the moors. The cottage is truly a mix of rural with a modern twist with various amenities (dish washer, log burner, dog blankets and towels etc) that made our stay super relaxing and convenient.

Absolutely fantastic place!!! We have had a lovely stay here didn’t want to come home. We came for a joint birthday and it was decorated with birthday banners and balloons even a bottle of bubbly as we arrived!!!! The hayloft was also decorated for Christmas which was tastefully done. The hampers left were fab even the dog hamper was great everything was thought. Hot tub was amazing as was getting cosy next to log fire. Location was perfect very peaceful just what we wanted! Would absolutely definitely recommend and will certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas for 3 days. I cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was. The property is gorgeous and everything you need is there. They left us 2 big hampers filled with local produce including eggs, cheese , cakes ,etc. Really took our breath away. in the fridge they provided milk and the most amazing fresh juice. Amanda and Kelvin are amazing hosts. The hot tub was cleaned every day. we ran out of milk and they provided some more for us when requested. As a family we cannot express how much we love this place and we will be back wonderful. The hot tub was incredible looking over the fields with running pheasants heaven !!! Also the padock for the dogs and massive bonus. Five Star

We loved staying at the Hayloft and will definitely visit again. Amanda and Kelvin are excellent hosts and the farmhouse is beautiful and extremely clean. We had a great weekend for a Christmas girl’s trip in the hayloft. The place is stunning, very clean and probably the most well-equipped air BnB I’ve stayed in (and there have been many!). The hosts are friendly and unobtrusive and go the extra mile with a lovely welcome basket of local produce and are on hand with anything you need. You’re surrounded by coastline and moors so there’s plenty to do if you manage to tear yourself away from the hot tub and very comfortable beds!

Can’t be postive enough about this stay, we stayed for my partners birthday during the stormy weekend. Amanda was kind enough to put up some birthday decorations and the cottage was already decorated for Christmas too so the setting was lovely.

The cottage was really spacious and felt so homely with everything thought of, which was especially appreciated during this particular stormy weekend. Essentials like tea, coffee, milk were provided, along with lovely extras like jam, eggs, cake and bread!

The hot tub was really spacious with beautiful views in a lovely secluded area.

The cottage was well catered for dogs, with a little basket including towels, treats, blankets etc.

Location was also fab, with plenty of places nearby to visit, pubs, walks etc but a car is essential.

Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed amanda and kelvin have thought of everything the place is immaculate. I mentioned it was for my husband birthday so they put balloons and banners up it was so thoughtful. The rooms were gorgeous and the view from the hot tub was beautiful watching all the nature from the hot tub .thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous house.

Beautiful peaceful cottage at the Byre which has excellent facilities for us and our lab Nelly. We loved the hot tub while she loved running around the enclosed garden and then playing fetch in the enclosed paddock.
We have visited 3 beaches in 3 days all within a comfortable driving distance, Whitby (our favourite on Halloween), Robins hood bay, Saltburn by the sea.

Wifi is great so movie night by the fire was lovely, cooked a lot and had everything I needed, welcome basket with eggs from chickens on the farm, milk, bread, apple juice etc was fab.
Will book again and 💯 would recommend

Turning off the road onto a farmers lane, we weren’t sure what to expect. When we got to the property we were met by the owners – very friendly people! They’d even brought treats and a blanket for the dog!

The property itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The goodies in our welcome package were awesome! We also made great use of the outside hot tub.

All in all a great property – we’d totally recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing time away.

Been to Low Waupley Farm twice now and definitely more in the future!! Its amazing!!
We had an absolutely fantastic time. The accommodation is fantastic everything you need is catered for! And if it isn’t then Mandy and Kel are more than happy to help in any way possible.
It’s clean/ comfortable / lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. Pets are very welcome too for those who want to bring their furry friends along. On top of that you have the fabulous HOT TUB!! 🙌 amazing at the end of the day for a nice relaxing evening with a few drinks …. Or even a quick morning dip to start the day.
You won’t regret booking here as I’m sure you’ll be back time after time! It’s a must try guys. 11/10 type of place.

Kelvin and Amanda were the perfect hosts. We stayed in the Hayloft with our family of 6, there was lots of space for us all. Cannot recommend this place enough as what Kelvin and Amanda have done is absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back.

Very peaceful and tucked away for a relaxing stay.

The place was clean and comfortable, lovely garden for the dog to go outside in, and fabulous hot tub.

Cottage was lovely and homely, owners lived on site which was a lovely touch. Owners had left a lovely tray of goodies for us which was a sweet gesture. Hot tub was thorough enjoyed in the evenings after day of exploring. Lots to do close by.

The property is exactly as shown in the post. The host met us at the property and welcomed us, they even had some dog treats ready for our 4 legged friend. The property is spotless and everything is to a very high standard like the bathrooms and kitchen. The hot tub was maintained every morning and was ready for us to use straightaway. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely property, located in a discreet and private location, within farmland offering easy access to many locations on the Yorkshire Coast region.

Family enjoyed the welcomed break, having access to the jacuzzi was a very much used end-of-evening pleasure.

We loved our stay at the Hayloft. Amanda and Kelvin were extremely friendly and helpful. The welcome basket was lovely and the house was very well equipped for small children, with stair gates, child-locks on cupboard doors, a travel cot and a high chair. The garden was secure for the dogs and there was even a secure paddock for them to run in. Brilliant attention to detail and the house has been refurbished to a very high standard. Perfect retreat for families with children and dogs – we will definitely be returning.

Despite the weather, we have had a wonderful weekend.

Hidden gem off the beaten track!! From arrival to departure our time spent at ‘The Hayloft’ was a wonderful experience. Approx. 3/4 mile off the road the cottage is located in some stunning countryside. We received a warm welcome on arrival by Amanda and Kelvin who gave us a basic rundown of the cottage and local area.

The cottage itself was immaculate and the beds very comfortable, with one of the upstairs bedrooms single beds converted to a double upon request. One of the upstairs rooms also had a sofa and TV used as an additional area to relax after a busy day exploring. The hot tub was a bonus and very welcomed after being out exploring the local area during the day, located in a well maintained garden/patio area at the rear of the property. With the cottage being located a distance from the road, time in the hot tub was extra peaceful and relaxing.

The location of the cottage is ideal to explore the local towns and villages such as Whitby, Saltburn-by-the-Sea & Staithes with the main road literally a couple of minutes away. An informative information folder detailing recommended local pubs and cafes was a great addition and this was accompanied by leaflets for local attractions and walks in the area.

The cottage is also well equipped to cater for small children and dogs if required.

One last thing which I almost forgot about and which is a lovely gesture was the extensive welcome bundle awaiting us on arrival, packed with daily essentials such as milk and bread aswell as some local sweet treats and produce which all receive a big thumbs up!!!

We will definitely look to return to Low Waupley Farm in the near future and will be recommending to family and friends in the meantime.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed on arrival by Kelvin and Amanda who had biscuits for our dogs.
The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect break.
They excel at the little details which made this place really stand out as somewhere special and the dog field was a godsend.

Beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you could possibly need and a few more things. All feels like a nice home from home. Hard to top the hot tub on a beautiful summer night and it was so beautiful to be in the heart of the countryside. We loved our stay.

Lots of places to visit within a small drive.
Hot tub was a big hit after a day of exploring.
