What an amazing place. Amanda & Kelvin were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to help us settle in to be right at home. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be booking again in the future. Truly a credit to them and their place the hayloft.

Had a lovely few days at the hayloft. It had everything…and I mean everything. Great attention to detail from the lovely local treats left for us to the socket extension on each side of the bed!! Emergency lighting and safety information did not go unnoticed and the kitchen was the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever stayed in! My children loved their own living room a little too much! Me and my husband enjoyed the open fire and hot tub. And our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden, dog field and treats left for him!Would most definitely come back again.

Lovely stay in the moors with friends. A lovely cottage with everything you need. The hosts were friendly and helpful and left a welcome tray with everything you would need and more. They even provided extra towels and bowls for the dogs.

The whole site is very dog friendly with an enclosed field area for the dogs to burn off some energy and the area around the hot tub is fully enclosed.

The real fire was welcome this time of year especially after getting out of the hot tub!
The kitchen area has everything you would need, it really felt like home from home.

Would 100% recommend and hope to return in the future!

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Hay Loft.The cottage was beautiful, the welcome baskets were very thoughtful my children loved the hot chocolate and also looking at the fresh eggs which had been left to match to the photos of the hens in the welcome book.Great location for exploring the East coast.Fabulous hosts, we would absolutely love the visit again.

Fantastic place inside and out. With the moors on the doorstep and everything you need to wind down once you get back we had one of the most chilled and enjoyable breaks we’ve had in a while. We will most definitely stay again when we are up that way. 👌🏻

We had a lovely family stay at the Hayloft. Amanda and Kelvin left us a beautiful welcome pack full of amazing goodies for our stay.The place felt like home from the moment we walked in. The kitchen was so well equipped and made cooking our early Christmas dinner a really easy.Three great bedrooms, comfy beds and everything was clean and cosy.The hot tub with gorgeous views was checked over every morning by Amanda and Kelvin. It was a great size, plenty of room and perfectly clean.The dog paddock was also brilliant for letting our dog have a run around. safe and secure.Fantastic location with Runswick Bay just a short drive away.we will definitely be returning soon.

Gorgeous cottage and wonderful hosts! They really had thought about everything, leaving clear instructions, recommendations, lovely welcome packs for both us and the dogs and even fresh eggs from their hens. Very dog and child friendly. The hosts met us upon arrival and were very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic place to relax and have some peace and quiet.

This was our third time staying at The Hayloft, and Amanda and Kelvin went above and beyond as always. They had decorated for Christmas and even for my birthday, with banners, balloons, and a card, which I thought was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They are truly amazing hosts, offering the most beautiful cottage in the most stunning location. Everything about this place is perfect! It really is our home from home. I’d stay forever if I could. Amanda and Kelvin are amazing hosts. This was our second visit and won’t be our last. We have fallen in love with the place. Relaxing in the hot tub watching the sunset, the fires, the views, the freedom for the dogs in the secure dog field. Amanda and kelvin go above and beyond to make sure the stay is perfect. The thought that goes into everything, fresh eggs and welcome tray. Fresh milk and juice in the fridge. Nothing is ever too much for them and they accept dogs, including banned breeds which is just incredible. We are so grateful to have found this place. It’s our new little place of heaven and safety. Hard to find any fault with this gem of a cottage, we all were made to feel at home had everything that we could’ve wanted. Our little boy loved looking at the wildlife and chickens, and we loved the hot tub with perfect clear skies at night.

The Byre was the most exquisite holiday cottage I have ever stayed in.Beautiful furnishings,comfortable beds,a kitchen that looked as though it had never been used and of course, the hot tub. The welcome tray was a thing of wonder in itself and you don’t often get the chance to personally thank the hen that laid your breakfast egg. The cottage was immaculate but it was all the thoughtful touches that made it so special. Thank you.

Another truly memorable part of our stay was the incredible abundance of wildlife all around us. We spotted roe deer quietly grazing in the fields, pheasants strutting through the hedgerows, and even caught a glimpse of a sparrowhawk overhead. Owls could be seen and heard calling in the evenings, and a flock of geese passed overhead and dropped into the surrounding fields adding to the peaceful rural atmosphere. There were so many birds around, it felt like we were immersed in nature at every turn – a real treat for wildlife lovers.

Amazing little cottage for a relaxing first time holiday with the dogs. Everything was spotless and tidy and the hosts were so helpful and welcoming. Cute doggy hamper and another welcome hamper with tea/coffee, cakes, biscuits etc.The hot tub was lovely and clean and the view from the garden was beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and the perfect place for the dogs. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone wanting a little break away.

Am absolute gem of a place to stay and so glad we found it. Amanda and Kelvin are superb hosts and The Hayloft had absolutely everything we needed and more. A beautiful unspoilt location away from it all. We have already booked for next year and can’t wait to stay again.

We stayed for 2 night for a wedding at Danby castle. The cottage was beautiful, spotless and with anything you could possibly need for a great stay. The hot tub was great, and the welcome pack fab. It’s in a great location to explore the North Yorkshire coast and north yorks moors. Amanda was fab at getting back to me with any questions I had prior to arrival. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Byre had everything we needed. Such a lovely cottage, you can tell how much thought Amanda has put into making it the perfect holiday cottage. We loved the complementary welcome tray and chilling in the hot tub. We’ve already recommended it to our family and friends and are thinking about our next trip!

The Byre was absolutely perfect for our little family! It’s an incredibly peaceful setting, whilst being within a short distance to attractions.The cottage is stunning, and the welcome hamper was absolutely lovely. It’s perfectly equipped, and the first time we’ve been somewhere where they’ve so carefully thought about hosting families with small children, with child safety locks on cupboards and drawers, which made life much easier with our 2 year old!Equally, the outdoor area was perfect, enclosed and safe for both children and dogs. The hot tub was incredibly well maintained and was lovely to use after a long day exploring.The hosts were fantastic, and you can tell they really think about the small touches which make staying away even better.To top it all off, our little boy who is obsessed with tractors was able to watch them hard at work, which absolutely made his holiday!! We will no doubt be returning again in the near future!!

Wow! Stunning location and beautiful home but what really stood out was how Amanda and Kevin went out of their way to do everything they could for us. Celebrating a 50th we walked into a house of decorations, the most amazing food treats and a lively birthday card. We couldn’t recommend this place more and Amanda / Kevin are simply the best. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Hayloft. Communication was great right from the start, offering to make twin room into a double when knew we 2 couples. It was easy to find with good instructions and even offered early check in. Were there to great us and were nearby if we needed anything (which we didn’t). The Hayloft was exactly as described/pictures and was very comfortable and extremely well kitted out with loads of cuttlery, crockery and glasswear.Near to the coast and many pubs/restaurants just a short drive away.Had a great time and will definitely be booking again.many thanksKate, Tim, Val and Mike (and Dougie the dachshund who loved his first holiday)

Beautiful farm cottage stay with hot tub for our ‘end of summer’ weekend away with the kids.Super peaceful location – star gazing from the hot tub at night 🙂 we all slept really well too in the comfy beds.Hosts were so friendly & helpful! Absolutely stunning holiday home decorated to high standards and on private land. The hosts were fabulous and at a few days notice decorated the cottage with birthday banners for us. The welcome tray was a lovely surprise and included a hand written birthday card. Overall we would highly recommend and we will return in the future 😊

What a great place to stay, it’s so private and secluded. Amanda and Kelvin are great hosts very welcoming, and also clear and communicative. The location is perfect for being a proper retreat to relax whilst also not being too far away from places for lovely days out. It’s perfect for dogs as it’s not just a place that allows dogs to stay but its dog welcoming with a great dog exercise area and everything you might need should you have forgotten anything for your dog. The accommodation is provided as a home away from home and we didn’t want to leave when it was time to come home.

Amazing cottage! So peaceful the kids loved walking the country lanes to watch the sunset over the fields. Lovely and private and only a 10 min drive away from anything to do. Amanda and Kelvin had the place decorated for my little boys birthday and a beautiful welcome kit. Cottage was stunning and hot tub went down a treat!

Just home from a wonderful week staying at the hayloft. The cottage is homely, extremely well equipped and feels like home from home! The location is amazing, close to atunning coast lines whilst also being deep in the beautiful yorkshire moors.
We loved spotting all of the animals who live nearby including owls, woodpeckers, sparrow hawks, bats, hares, sheep, chicken and deer! Magical 🩷
The hosts Amanda and Kelvin were fab- friendly and helpful whilst allowing us the space and privacy to enjoy our holiday. The welcome tray was a lovely touch and the dog basket was fab too- they really have thought of everything.
This was our second stay and I suspect it won’t be our last!

Absolutely loved this stay and everything about it. There wasn’t one ounce of detail that Amanda and Kelvin hadn’t thought of making the stay super luxurious. We loved how not only us humans but the dogs felt right at home straight away and they were welcomed as much as we were. Rory says thanks for the treats. Clover loved the onsite dog exercise field and would have spent all her time in there if we let her. The location is lovely and quiet which is perfect as we just wanted a relaxing getaway and there was loads of things to see and do with just a short drive away. Made easier by the guide left in the welcome folder. Thank you so much for having us.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times now and really enjoy it. The lovely hosts greet you when you arrive and are on site for you if there is anything you need. There’s a delicious welcome basket for you (and your dog ) which we always enjoy. Beautiful scenery and we enjoy the wildlife that we see.. The accommodation has everything you need (and more) and feels Very comfortable . The hot tub is an added bonus.
We stay here to visit family but there are lots of activities close by.

Ideal location for us for attending our daughter’s wedding and so relaxing after in the beautiful countryside, would love to go back.

I hired these cottages for the night before my wedding and our wedding party stayed here all weekend. Both barns were so gorgeous, comfortable beds and pillows, and the owners were so kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Even taking in food delivery’s for us and changing sheets and towels for us on request. Would highly recommend!

Me, my partner, our baby and some close friends stayed at the Byre on low Waupley farm for a little weekend getaway and had an absolutely brilliant time. The place was absolutely spotless and had all the essentials we needed already there so we can pack lighter next time knowing this. We didn’t hear a single car the whole time we was there it was so peaceful. Only the lovely birds singing. The location itself is perfect with it being so close to the east coast, if you fancy a trip out you’re not far away from the sea at all. There is also a fire pit/bbq to use, which we did (in the pouring rain) but that only made it more memorable. One of the hosts Amanda even came out and gave us her big umbrella to help shield the bbq from the rain which was very much appreciated and a lovely gesture. The fresh farm eggs from the hens on the farm that you can literally see from the back enclosure of the cottage were phenomenal. You can’t get much fresher. Hosts Kelvin and Amanda really did go above and beyond to make our stay really special and we can’t thank them enough. All in all we had an absolutely amazing time and will be back again for sure. If you’re thinking of booking just do it! You won’t be disappointed 11/10.

Couldn’t recommend Low Waupley Farm enough. The location, attention to detail, beautiful accommodation and attentive hosting were amazing. All within a short drive of local amenities and beaches but far enough away to make you feel like you’re away from it all. 10/10 from us.

THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!! The place is absolutely beautiful. very peaceful. beautiful to watch the sun set, and to listen to the animals and the bird. Your so intouch with nature but then so close to the beaches too. was absolutely perfect. We didn’t want to leave. they have absolutely everything you need! The host are so welcoming. You feel very safe there as the outside has CCTV. Absolutely perfect place for a weekend away. They are also so welcoming to dogs. providing a basket for all the things your fur babies may need. Stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding. Lovely cottage and space. The decor and how it’s been done out is great – country, cosy, but high end. Everything you need is provided.

Due to attending a wedding nearby we didn’t spend much time here during the day but my partner and I both loved staying here.

The welcome tray with breakfast items and drinks is a lovely addition – especially with the fresh eggs from the hens on the farm!

The welcome pack included local recommendations nearby which we utilised for breakfast outing after checking out.

Came here a couple weeks ago with some friends, Amanda and Kelvin could not have been more welcoming! Before we arrived, there was great communication and when we arrived, they were there to welcome us into their lovely place. They put complementary decorations for my friend’s birthday and overall the house was just fantastic. It was clean, the beds were so comfortable and the place felt like there was great care put into it. Amazing for just a nice getaway and would definitely recommend 🙂

Just the Perfect place they had thought of everything for both humans and dogs , the hot tub was a super way to relax after a day walking , knowing that the dogs could come outside with us but be secure . Bed extremely comfy and OMG the eggs laid by their own chickens we never tasted eggs soo good, will definitely be visiting again

Fabulous place. The cottage is beautiful & chocked full of little touches which I really love!! The kitchen is better stocked than mine 🙈 Literally everything provided. Even a last minute change to our booking didn’t cause any issues. Very easy & well communicated with the hosts. This place is easily one of the cleanest & prettiest I’ve ever stayed at!! Whatever I write will not fully express the amazing stay we had. The Hayloft was short of nothing. We didn’t need half the kitchen store cupboard or cleaning that we took. Even hubby commented. It was very dog friendly with a box of dog essentials. Local information was in abundance. The home was very clean and welcoming especially the wonderful tray of local goodies. To top it all, everything was very eco conscious.

Thank you to Amanda and Kevin! Their cottage was absoloutely stunning and they were lovely hosts throughout our stay.

We stayed in the Haycroft cottage for the weekend with friends who were visiting from overseas and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful rural cottage. The cottage is off the beaten track (GPS picks up the postcode easily), therefore was really peaceful and quiet. The added bonus was the hot tub with stunning views of the moors. The cottage is truly a mix of rural with a modern twist with various amenities (dish washer, log burner, dog blankets and towels etc) that made our stay super relaxing and convenient.

The Hayloft is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location, we could not fault a single thing. We received a warm welcome from Kelvin and Amanda upon arrival and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay, the welcome tray was a really lovely touch, as well as all the thoughtful items supplied for the dog. Would love to come back one day just a shame we live so far away.

We have just returned from a lovely stay here at the Byre. The accommodation is exactly as described and the hosts were fantastic, providing lovely touches such as welcome baskets for us and the dogs. The location is great for exploring the local seaside towns, and very private. I would certainly recommend and would stay again.

The Air BnB is off the beaten track (quite literally) which is exactly what we wanted, but remains well situated for Whitby/Staithes. Beautiful cottage, friendly hosts. The place was immaculate, warm and cosy. Well kitted out for families with baby gates on the stairs, books, baby cutlery and a child proofed kitchen. Absolutely everything you could need. The welcome basket was lovely. Hot tub was lush and it was very clean and maintained regularly during our stay. Lots of parking space, beautiful garden, lovely furniture. They even put up birthday decorations for us as we were celebrating. Would love to come back!

Wonderful stay in the Byre at Low Waupley Farm. very clean and exactly like the pictures. The hot tub was brilliant and ready for us arriving. It was my daughters birthday and they had put up banners and balloons for our arrival which was lovely. There was a welcome baskets which was really nice and little bottle milk and juice in fridge. Also a basket for our little pooch who loved the biscuits. our stay was amazing and would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back 5* Thank You

Place was lovely and clean. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Met by Amanda on arrival who explained that they lived next door if we needed anything/had any issues, and then did not see hosts again until leaving which I thought was perfect. There was a lovely tray with local cake, eggs from their hens, milk and bread, waiting in the kitchen for us. Lovely little break from life for a couple of days. Would highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic place!!! We have had a lovely stay here didn’t want to come home. We came for a joint birthday and it was decorated with birthday banners and balloons even a bottle of bubbly as we arrived!!!! The hayloft was also decorated for Christmas which was tastefully done. The hampers left were fab even the dog hamper was great everything was thought. Hot tub was amazing as was getting cosy next to log fire. Location was perfect very peaceful just what we wanted! Would absolutely definitely recommend and will certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas for 3 days. I cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was. The property is gorgeous and everything you need is there. They left us 2 big hampers filled with local produce including eggs, cheese , cakes ,etc. Really took our breath away. in the fridge they provided milk and the most amazing fresh juice. Amanda and Kelvin are amazing hosts. The hot tub was cleaned every day. we ran out of milk and they provided some more for us when requested. As a family we cannot express how much we love this place and we will be back wonderful. The hot tub was incredible looking over the fields with running pheasants heaven !!! Also the padock for the dogs and massive bonus. Five Star

We had a great weekend for a Christmas girl’s trip in the hayloft. The place is stunning, very clean and probably the most well-equipped air BnB I’ve stayed in (and there have been many!). The hosts are friendly and unobtrusive and go the extra mile with a lovely welcome basket of local produce and are on hand with anything you need. You’re surrounded by coastline and moors so there’s plenty to do if you manage to tear yourself away from the hot tub and very comfortable beds!

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation is very comfortable and has everything you would need. Amanda greeted us on arrival and was really friendly. She’d been helpful throughout the booking process because I had needed to ask some questions about accessibility for someone with mobility issues. The property felt really cosy. There was a super welcome tray with local produce on it which we absolutely loved and even the dogs were given treats and a welcome basket. There is a sealed garden at the back for dogs. The hot tub was really good . We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was an excellent location for us to visit the local area. . This is absolutely one of the nicest places we’ve stayed and we will definitely use it again..

Can’t be postive enough about this stay, we stayed for my partners birthday during the stormy weekend. Amanda was kind enough to put up some birthday decorations and the cottage was already decorated for Christmas too so the setting was lovely.

The cottage was really spacious and felt so homely with everything thought of, which was especially appreciated during this particular stormy weekend. Essentials like tea, coffee, milk were provided, along with lovely extras like jam, eggs, cake and bread!

The hot tub was really spacious with beautiful views in a lovely secluded area.

The cottage was well catered for dogs, with a little basket including towels, treats, blankets etc.

Location was also fab, with plenty of places nearby to visit, pubs, walks etc but a car is essential.

Amanda and Kevin were amazing hosts, ensuring we were completely happy throughout our stay, they greeted us upon arrival, checked in throughout our stay and offered a late checkout for us as nobody was booked the next day which was great. The cottage has everything you need to stay there, Amanda and Kevin have thought of everything to keep you comfortable and happy throughout the stay. They left a lovely welcome basket for us arriving which included some fresh bread, eggs and some beautiful cake from a local place as well as other things. It was very peaceful throughout our stay, the surroundings are lovely and it is very quiet and relaxing. We didn’t take our dogs, however, after seeing how dog friendly the cottage is we will definitely be returning with our dogs🙂. We didn’t get chance to use the hot tub as it was so cold outside throughout our stay, however, the hot tub was huge and looked great so we can’t wait to use it when we return. An overall brilliant stay, lovely weekend!

What a gem of a find! Beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more. We had a girls trip away but noted it was child friendly with a number of bits for young kids like high chairs etc if needed.

We absolutely adored our stay at this cottage. Its peaceful surroundings, the hot tub and cosy cottage. There was a lot of things provided for us to have a comfortable stay. We left wishing we’d stayed longer, no doubt we will be back.

Absolutely the best place we have ever stayed amanda and kelvin have thought of everything the place is immaculate. I mentioned it was for my husband birthday so they put balloons and banners up it was so thoughtful. We have stayed at many airb&bs over the years and this is up there with one of our favourite. The location is incredible with stunning views over fields – perfect for a morning in the hot tub.
The property is located up a large farm track so you are well away from traffic noise etc.
The barn is fantastic and really well equipped! I was really impressed with the amount of thought that has gone into child proofing the property – this was perfect for our 14 month old toddler.
The hosts met us when we arrived – really friendly and a lovely welcome basket left on our arrival.

Had an AMAZING time at the cottage. Such a lovely cottage and it had absolutely everything we needed and more! Loved the range of kids books available and the games- so thoughtful. The cottage was so clean and the hot tub was maintained each day by Amanda.
The location of the farm is great, the views from the hot tub / were fab. Great base for exploring Whitby and surrounding areas. A few pubs nearby which we visited. The food at the water wheel inn was lovely.

We booked the Hayloft for a family get together close to Staithes and Saltburn.
Amanda the host was very proactive with our booking and altered bed configurations to suit out needs.
The Hayloft is spacious and spotlessly clean with a good range of kitchen equipment.
The hot tub is great for stargazing, we were lucky enough to have clear skies for our stay and saw shooting stars and satellites clearly
A welcome pack with local tea, coffee, cake, juice and eggs was waiting for us on arrival
The Hayloft is very peaceful and a great place to get away from it all but also a great base for exploring the East coast and Yorkshire Moors
I would highly recommend the Hayloft and would like to go again in the near future

Low Waupley Farm was the perfect place to celebrate my wifes 40th birthday! The surrounding Moors looked glorious in the sunshine and we it was a great base from which to explore the North Yorkshire Coast. The Byre was beautiful, cosy, comfortable, well equipped and furnished to very high specification. The choice of furnishings and decoration meant the Byre felt like home immediately. Amanda and Kelvin were the very best hosts, Amanda made sure the Byre was decorated with balloons and banners, took an online shopping order in for us, before we arrived and even left a bottle of fizz and a card for Jennas birthday! There was also a lovely welcome back with all you could need and some little treats as well as eggs from Willow and her fellow chickens out back. The hot tub and the pergola surrounding it was gorgeous, the lights really made it. We will definitely book again and bring friends!

A fantastic Airbnb in a lovely remote location but still well located for easy trips to the coast. Fantastic amenities, lovely hot tub, spotlessly clean. To top it all off we even got to see the Northern Lights during our stay. Amanda was a fantastic host and I will highly recommend to my family and friends. Great find this Airbnb

Turning off the road onto a farmers lane, we weren’t sure what to expect. When we got to the property we were met by the owners – very friendly people! They’d even brought treats and a blanket for the dog!

The property itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The goodies in our welcome package were awesome! We also made great use of the outside hot tub.

All in all a great property – we’d totally recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing time away.

It’s clean/ comfortable / lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. Pets are very welcome too for those who want to bring their furry friends along. On top of that you have the fabulous HOT TUB!! 🙌 amazing at the end of the day for a nice relaxing evening with a few drinks …. Or even a quick morning dip to start the day.

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous location. The owners were friendly and welcoming when we arrived, even provided dog treats and a dog blanket when they met our golden retriever. The cottage was clean, tidy, comfortable and flooded with natural light. The welcome gifts were a kind addition. The enclosed garden and extra paddock for dog play gave us extra peace of mind for the dog. The hot tub was a new experience for our kids, which we all loved. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean. All round successful stay!

Cottage was lovely and homely, owners lived on site which was a lovely touch. Owners had left a lovely tray of goodies for us which was a sweet gesture. Hot tub was thorough enjoyed in the evenings after day of exploring. Lots to do close by.

The property is spotless and everything is to a very high standard like the bathrooms and kitchen. The hot tub was maintained every morning and was ready for us to use straightaway. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely property, located in a discreet and private location, within farmland offering easy access to many locations on the Yorkshire Coast region.

Family enjoyed the welcomed break, having access to the jacuzzi was a very much used end-of-evening pleasure.

Gorgeous views, really peaceful surroundings. Easy to find despite its remote location. The barn itself was decorated beautifully and there were so many little touches that made it such a lovely place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Hayloft. Amanda and Kelvin were extremely friendly and helpful. The welcome basket was lovely and the house was very well equipped for small children, with stair gates, child-locks on cupboard doors, a travel cot and a high chair. The garden was secure for the dogs and there was even a secure paddock for them to run in. Brilliant attention to detail and the house has been refurbished to a very high standard. Perfect retreat for families with children and dogs – we will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful few days staying at The Byre, Low Waupley Farm. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was just as described, extremely clean and well equipped with everything one could need including a well stocked welcome tray and there was even a pot of dog biscuits and a blanket for our dog.
We can definitely recommend The Byre and hope to return in the near future.

Hidden gem off the beaten track!! From arrival to departure our time spent at ‘The Hayloft’ was a wonderful experience. Approx. 3/4 mile off the road the cottage is located in some stunning countryside. We received a warm welcome on arrival by Amanda and Kelvin who gave us a basic rundown of the cottage and local area.

The cottage itself was immaculate and the beds very comfortable, with one of the upstairs bedrooms single beds converted to a double upon request. One of the upstairs rooms also had a sofa and TV used as an additional area to relax after a busy day exploring. The hot tub was a bonus and very welcomed after being out exploring the local area during the day, located in a well maintained garden/patio area at the rear of the property. With the cottage being located a distance from the road, time in the hot tub was extra peaceful and relaxing.

The location of the cottage is ideal to explore the local towns and villages such as Whitby, Saltburn-by-the-Sea & Staithes with the main road literally a couple of minutes away. An informative information folder detailing recommended local pubs and cafes was a great addition and this was accompanied by leaflets for local attractions and walks in the area.

The cottage is also well equipped to cater for small children and dogs if required.

One last thing which I almost forgot about and which is a lovely gesture was the extensive welcome bundle awaiting us on arrival, packed with daily essentials such as milk and bread aswell as some local sweet treats and produce which all receive a big thumbs up!!!

We will definitely look to return to Low Waupley Farm in the near future and will be recommending to family and friends in the meantime.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed on arrival by Kelvin and Amanda who had biscuits for our dogs.
The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect break.
They excel at the little details which made this place really stand out as somewhere special and the dog field was a godsend.

Really enjoyed our stay here, we were greeted when we arrived which made us feel at home straightaway. It had everything we needed for a getaway with our pooch, really appreciated the enclosed garden and nearby field so she could have a run around! Hot tub was warm when we arrived and felt private allowing us to soak in the views in peace!

We stayed here with our two springers and the cottage was beautiful, so clean! We were given a blanket and biscuits for the pups on arrival which was so lovely.
The location was also perfect, only a 15/20minute drive to the coast, lots of walks even closer. We had such a wonderful time, would definitely recommend 😄

Great that it is dog friendly even catered for dogs, we were given throws, dog treats, rub down mittens for those wet walks!
Great location , felt peaceful and great to visit the sheep and lambs on the walks and the odd hare!
Hosts came and met us on check in , very friendly.
We could not fault anything with the hayloft , it is fully equipped with everything you need, they even offer laundry service if you require!

We stayed at the Hayloft with our 3 furbabies, and what an incredible 3 nights we all had! Perfect location for a peaceful few days away. The area was ideal for taking the animals to the beach or different countryside walks, and the surroundings were beautiful. The owners had thought through everything and there was a useful guide in the cottage with numerous things to do and see. We finished the stay with a lovely steak dinner in Saltburn! Definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Hayloft. It was beautifully clean and with amenities like a hot tub and wood burner, it felt extra luxurious, compared to a lot of Air bnb properties I’ve used before. The downstairs bedroom/bathroom was perfect for my mum who requires accessibility (there is one single step – she managed fine) and everything we could have needed was provided. There were even a few extra touches like milk, a loaf of bread and locally made cake left out for us. The guidebook was so helpful – lots of information about things to do/local places to eat – and the host was so responsive/accommodating. We would absolutely return.

I booked this stay for my partners birthday and we weren’t disappointed. Such a lovely cottage, We could have quite happily of stayed a fortnight! Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful.
Watching the sun set from the hot tub in the evening was amazing.

The Byre is a great place to stay! The barn is beautifully fitted out, with everything you could need and more. As it is not in walking distance of any shops the few welcome items were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Everything is well thought out and the place is spotless. It’s the perfect escape for some much needed rest and relaxation and the hot tub is a great addition. The only minor critique would be we wished the check in was early (or the check out was later) as it’s quite late and we would just have wanted to spend longer in this beautiful place! We will definitely be back soon!

A really lovely place. From the outside the amount of space inside is quite decieving. The whole place was clean and tastefully decorated. Plenty of space to spread out and very well equipped. The hosts were there to meet us and we were greeted with tea, coffee cake and fresh milk. Lots of informatii was provided about the local area and ways to get around. A great place for hikers to stay with maps, torches, binoculars provided. The hot tub looked great and well maintained but we didn’t have chance to use it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Both us and our dog were made to feel very welcome on arrival, with the host meeting us as we arrived with some dog treats and a blanket for her. There were several treats inside for us too, including a bottle of prosecco which was much appreciated. The log burner was so cosy and was a big hit with our lazy basset hound. We loved spending time in the hot tub in it’s beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

The host met us at the door and was really welcoming and friendly, and even let us know about the sticky front door.

Had both cottages for a long weekend to celebrate a 60th Birthday. Stunning cottages with everything you would need for a stay away from home, very clean and comfortable, a yummy welcome tray to greet you when you arrive, even the dog was spoilt! Clean well maintained hot tubs with beautiful views. Lots of information inside each cottage. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come again. Mandy Kelvin and Brandon are wonderful hosts and although they live on site they leave you to enjoy your stay.

You won’t regret staying here. It is a beautiful place and the location is so peaceful and relaxing. Its a short drive to beautiful local areas. We would definitely stay again. It was clean and well presented. The hosts are fantastic and very welcoming. An extra bonus was the dog safe garden and some delicious treats left for us and the pup.

Quite possibly the cleanest air b&b I’ve stayed at – it was spotless! Upon arrival we were met by the host who provided us with dog treats and a blanket and informed us that the hot tub was already on and what time they would be checking it the rest of the stay.

Inside we were met with a welcome basket – with lovely items and in the fridge a bottle of Prosecco! Under the sink was a box full of dog essentials also!

The whole place was well equipped the kitchen had everything you’d want, plus the rest of the house really had had thought put into making it pet (and child) friendly without it being obvious. The tv worked great, there was lots of games and books etc too.

The garden was great for dogs – we have two medium – large dogs and there was no worries about them getting out. There was a dog bin in the garden itself too.

The hot tub was private and really nice – and it was amazing sat in there looking up at a clear night sky with the stars!

All in all a perfect air bnb stay!

We had a fantastic stay for a couple of nights. My only complaint is I wish we stayed longer. The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. It was spotless from top to bottom. The hot tub was absolute bliss, so relaxing. Loved watching the geese on a morning off on their travels and then coming back again on the evening. It was amazing to see a beautiful white owl as well. The owners Kelvin and Amanda were lovely and on hand if you needed anything. The welcome pack was unexpected and so nice. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at The Byre for 7 days and we enjoyed every single day. On first entering the property we immediatey realised we had made a great choice. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hosts, Kelvin and Amanda were very warm and welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. They had left us a chilled bottle of Prosecco along with tea, coffee, sugar, a loaf of bread and three pieces of lovely cake. We took our three small dogs along (chihuahuas) and they loved the garden area, it was completely secure and and safe.
The hot tub was an added bonus, it was immaculately clean and was cleaned and tested every morning by Amanda and Kelvin. It was also very warm.
Every room was pristine, we were very very impressed. Everything that you could possibly wish for was catered for at The Byre. We cooked a meal one night and had everything we needed and sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine or two.

We have lost count of how many times we have stay at the farm, we love it. It’s quite and relaxing. It has to be the cleanest place we have ever visited. Owners are very friendly and very helpful. Hot tubs are checked and cleaned regular. the cottagehas everything you need including I very generous welcome pack. We have booked again can’t wait 😊

What an amazing place to stay. Amanda and Kelvin are so friendly and accommodating.
They have thought of absolutely everything. We bought so much with us that we didn’t need as everything was already here. From spare batteries, torches in the top drawers, washing up items to everything your 4 legged friend would need from a leash, wash towel, brush, water bowls etc.
The Hayloft is a proper farm house and is so cozy. Our kids loved it, having their own room with a TV was a bonus.
If you are looking for an amazing, quiet place to recharge, Low Waupley Farm is a must.
There is alot to do in the immediate area, great places to eat and some amazing walks.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay! The property is really comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was especially good for our 1yr granddaughter who has just started walking with so many safety precautions in place eg stair gates, cupboard catches, fire guard as well as the high chair etc.
The cottage is in a brilliant location between the lovely seaside town of Saltburn with a long beach, pier, shops and eating places and the North York Moors which were stunning with all the heather and amazing views.
At the end of the day the hot tub was a blissful retreat. It was all a real find and we hope to return before too long.

Amanda and Kelvin were very friendly and greeted us on our arrival, everything was top notch with the Byre.
The accommodation was spotless and there was everything that you would need when staying away from home, the hot tub was a great bonus!
The Byre is very dog friendly with a secure garden and walks from the farm.
Lastly a great welcome tray with local goodies.

Looking for somewhere to stay in this area then we would highly recommend Low Waupley Farm.

The barn was lovely and clean and very easy to find. The barn is in a lovely peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything that you need.

The hosts were very welcoming upon our arrival and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed staying at The Byre for 2 weeks. What a treat. The owners welcomed us when we arrived and had dog treats and a dog blanket in hand. The accommodation was spotless and there was a very generous welcome tray for us. The location is perfect for exploring so many places: Staithes, Saltburn, Whitby, Sandsend as well as a drive in to York one day. We found the people in Yorkshire to be so friendly and the hot tub was used every evening. Excellent facilities to cook in every day and we had a Sainsburys food shop delivered each week. There is a key in the accommodation for the laundry room which operates an honesty box system for putting a wash on – really useful after the beach. The farm is so quiet. The holiday has been so relaxing!

Great place for a weekend away, driving distance to whitby and other coastal towns. Accommodation had everything we needed, with the bonus of a fab hot tub.

Superb cottage and hosts. Everything has been thought about – the welcome tray, decor, soft furnishings, the list goes on. Beautiful scenery adds to the blissful experience of the hot-tub. I’ve stayed in lots of cottages and this was one of the best.

If only the host could have controlled the weather it would have been excellent! The Hayloft was perfect stunning countyside, adorable wildlife. Also uninterrupted views from the pristine hot tub. Will definitely recommend

Absolutely beautiful place. Very peaceful. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. We were welcomed by lovely hosts with some dog treats and a welcome pack was waiting inside for us that made it very special. Everything was spotless. Really hope to stay there again sometime.

Went here with friends and family to celebrate a birthday. We had a lovely relaxing time. Scenery was lovely and peaceful and the hot tub was wonderful. Inside spotless and hosts really helpful. Would 100% recommend for a quiet, relaxing break.

We came to Low Waupley Farm for a short break and had an amazing time. It feels remote yet it’s close to the beach, shops and all. The house has great amenities and the owners are real nice.

The hayloft is a lovely welcoming cottage you feel right at home. Amanda and Kelvin have done a brilliant job and make you feel like you should be there. We can’t wait for August it will be our 5th visit

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer any questions that I had. It was clean and comfortable, in a lovely private and quiet location. Thanks again to the host for making my trip so enjoyable!

Beautiful accommodation and deco, located on a quiet farm within 20/25 minute drive to several beautiful coastal locations. This was a great break from city life and with it being dog friendly allowed us all travel together- well recommend

This is a very beautiful cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts had thought of everything for a comfortable stay. Information in online & hard copy handbook was very clear and accurate. Felt very much at home here and especially enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor space as we had fabulous weather. Beautiful part of the country.

Brilliant stay, stopped here for 5 nights and absolutely blown away with our experience. We stayed in the hayloft which was decorated to a very high standard and clean throughout. Amanda and Kelvin always available when needed which was fantastic. The Free WiFi was a lovely bonus, not many places offer free WiFi for the full period of stay. The bedrooms are very spacious and decorated to suit the rest of the decor of the building.
Washing facilities are amazing with the option of bath or shower and even double shower. Also have the option of laundry facilities. The views are amazing and with it being close to the coast, there are a huge list of activities that couples and or families can do, being close to Saltburn by the sea and about a 20 minute drive to whitby and beach.
Highly recommended for anyone thinking of visiting.

The Byre at Low Waupley Farm was an amazing place to stay. Our 2 nights were peaceful and relaxing in such an idyllic setting. Despite being on a working farm, it was so quiet and relaxing. The property is first class, immaculately finished and decorated to such a high standard. The old traditional look and feel stone floors, and open truss roof are beautiful. The amenities and items included are great giving you everything you need. The hot tub is also a great selling point! If you want to explore, whitby or saltburn are less than 30 mins away. We would definitely recommend and will stay again at somepoint in the future. 10/10!

Beautiful location, lovely property, super hosts

We had a great time staying at The Byre. Everything has been so well thought out, right down to the very last detail. We had everything we needed (plus more besides) and this really felt like a home from home. We had our daughter with us who’s only just over a year and a half and we found The Byre to be toddler friendly with some kitchen cupboard locks, electrical socket covers and a good quality high chair, and this helped us to relax a bit more as we knew she was safe. Amanda and Kelvin were also very friendly and greeted us on our arrival, and although we didn’t need to call on them for anything we felt that nothing was too much trouble at all.

We had an amazing stay for birthday this weekend, the place is lovely and we’ll equipped with everything you’d need for a stay. The hosts were lovely and attentive, they also had everything we would need for our dog!

I stayed at the Hayloft for 2 night with my husband, 1 year old son and 2 dogs and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. It genuinely felt like a home away from home because of all the thoughtful little things they had done for us. There were stair gates at the top and bottom of each set of stairs, a high chair, travel cot, dog bowls/treats/throws/mat/poo bags, literally everything we could have needed for our family to be safe and happy. The back garden was completely secure too so we didn’t have to worry about our son or dogs getting out. They had also left us some bread, milk, tea bags, cake and crisps on our arrival. The house was absolutely immaculate and so cosy. We are already planning our trip back.

So clean from the minute you step into the place… the cookware, quality of furnishings and all the bits and bobs such as sunloungers outside etc.. are all top notch. The hot tub is the best we have ever used! Clean and spotless every day…
We would highly recommend this place, families, couples, groups… it fits every need.

Perfect little cottage break for my mum’s 50th birthday. Greeted by the hosts who provided a blanket and jar a treats for the dog. Then inside we had a little breakfast hamper and a bottle of Prosecco. Lovely little touches really do make it all extra special. Couldn’t of picked a better place to spend our weekend. Really would recommend.

The cottage was lovely and we enjoyed using the hot tub. We received a warm welcome from Amanda and Kelvin and loved the welcome pack they provided. We found the location quiet and peaceful but within easy reach of more touristy places like Staithes. The only downside was getting constant messages from Host and Stay in the run-up to our visit saying they were going to cancel our booking because we hadn’t completed the verification process (which we had).

Great stay at the hayloft, delightful hosts, fantastic views. Kids loved it, especially the hot tub. Dog also loved the place and the treats he was given on arrival.

fantastic cottage, spotlessly clean, and everything you could need, the welcome gift was lovely especially the lemon cake, and the prosecco was a pleasant suprise, hotub was really nice as I had never been in one so would really recommend, my only negative was there was no shelter if raining if you smoke but wouldn’t put me off in the future. would definitely stay again sometime, Amanda and kelvin were a lovely couple and very welcoming would highly recommend a visit to the hayloft Debbie and Mike from west kirby on the wirral

I can thoroughly recommend The Byre. It is a beautiful cottage presented at a very high standard and very close to all the places we wanted to visit. It is very well equipped and we were greeted by the hosts and there was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. We made use of the walking books and maps provided. The hot tub was a great bonus after all the walking.

We had a fabulous weekend at The Byre. The accommodation was lovely and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The location is really peaceful and quiet, with many walks either from the door or a short drive away.
The hosts were friendly but unobtrusive and left a generous welcome pack. Hot tub is brilliant and really spacious – easily accommodation 4 adults. The only slight negative is the lack of bathrobes or extra towels for the hot tub. You are asked to shower before using the tub, but as we only has one towel each, this was wet when we came to get out of the tub and then shower again. All in all highly recommended.

We booked the Hayloft at the beginning but the host told us the booking has been cancelled just one day before the check-in date. We have to changed to another place from the host but there is a price difference. They said they will issue us refund, but not until we made lots of calls. The price difference should be £170 in total, but I only get refund for £32.34. And we don’t get the detailed calculation at all. Endless calls…

And one of the bedroom’s radiators doesn’t work, they said someone will come to fix in the morning but no one showed up at all.

Basically what they promised they never do.

Just returned home from an amazing long weekend at The Byrne! I can’t even put into words how perfect the accommodation was for us all. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, cosy weekend! The hosts were great and even met us on arrival with a blanket for the dogs and some treats! Well equipped kitchen and the log burner was an added bonus! Wifi was great which meant we could watch Christmas films on the smart tv (no problems with buffering etc). The hot tub was plenty big enough for 4 and loved the pergola with the curtains and lights around! We have recommended to all our family and friends and will certainly be returning in the new year! Amazing weekend ❤️

We had such an amazing girls weekend with our dogs. Such a stunning secluded location and brilliant spot for the dogs to enjoy! Hot tub was a treat and the whole decor was so lovely and modern. Only issue was an early check out but that’s more because we wanted to have longer there. Host’s were lovely! Hearting turned on for our arrival and gave us treats for the dogs. Dogs were a bit of a pain barking but they were more than understanding. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer!

We stayed here for two nights and we wished we could stay longer because the hosts made our stay so welcoming, and the facilities were perfect. From the welcome pack, log fire and jacuzzi these made our stay even more perfect when a storm hit one night! We will be back for more lemon cake as well!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The Byre was a lovely cottage in a beautiful location.
